Our client is seeking a motivated, and enthusiastic Refractive Surgeon to join their established, multi-specialty vision clinic.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Performs exams of the visual system to determine the nature or extent of ocular disorders.
- Performs a high volume of refractive surgeries such as Lasik / PRK / SMILE surgeries.
- Diagnoses or treats injuries, disorders, and diseases of the eye
- Documents and evaluates patients’ medical histories.
- Performs, orders, and interprets results of diagnostic or clinical tests.
- Prescribes and administers topical or systemic medications to treat ophthalmic conditions and to manage pain.
- Educates patients about maintenance and promotion of healthy vision.
Qualifications
- Current license as an Ophthalmologist
- Residency trained in refractive surgery
- Works well with a collaborative team
