Our client is seeking a Medical Optometrist to join a growing, patient-centered eye care team. The provider will deliver comprehensive eye care services, diagnose and manage ocular diseases, prescribe corrective lenses and medications, and collaborate with ophthalmologists to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments.
- Diagnose and manage a variety of ocular conditions and diseases.
- Prescribe corrective lenses and therapeutic treatments.
- Provide patient education regarding eye health and treatment plans.
- Coordinate care with ophthalmologists and other healthcare providers.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited program.
- Active and unrestricted state optometry license.
- Experience in medical optometry or a residency is highly preferred.
- Strong clinical, communication, and patient care skills.
